New York. Stein and Day, 1962. First Edition. 8vo. (6" x 8.5") Quarter cloth orange and grey boards with silver titles and decoration, in pictorial jacket. Inspired by the tale of Kazan's Uncle's (Avraam Elia Kazantzoglou) journey to America, this was made into the film of the same name. This copy was used in the Warner Brothers' Story Dept and subsequently inscribed to Kazan's friend Steve under his nickname "Gadg" Very Good. Light fading to spine, inscription to the half-title, studio story dept. stamp to ffep as shown in photos. / Good. Rubbing, chipping and creasing as seen in photos. Item #375
